Tecsel\u00ae Collar<\/h1>

The Tecsel\u00ae Collar<\/strong> is made up of a metallic casing of 0,7 mm thick of galvanised steel or 0,5 mm of stainless steel with attached intumescent graphite sheets of 2,5 mm thick and 30 or 60 mm wide, depending on the collar diameter.<\/p>\n
Under the influence of fire, the expandable graphite strip swells and blocks the opening in the plastic pipe, which prevents fire or smoke spreading across various fire sectors.<\/p>\n

Application and Use<\/h2>

Tecsel\u00ae<\/sup> Collar<\/strong> is closed by fastening the metal clip. The Tecsel\u00ae<\/sup> Collar<\/strong> is attached to the supporting structure by means of various holes and the corresponding screws or rivets.<\/p>\n

  1. Check the measurements of the pipe and open the Tecsel\u00ae<\/sup> Collar.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Place Tecsel\u00ae<\/sup> Collar<\/strong> as close as possible to the supporting structure.<\/li>\n
  3. Use the metal tab to adjust and to close the collar.<\/li>\n
  4. Screw the collar to the supporting structure using the appropriate fasteners.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
