Tecwool\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> is a line of fireproof mortars<\/strong>\u00a0composed of mineral wool<\/strong>, cement as only hydraulic binder and other additives in small percentages which are incorporated in the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n

The test conducted in official laboratories certify that the Tecwool\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> mortars have a high fire resistance <\/strong>and adherence on all kind of supports and\/or surfaces: metal, concrete, carbon fibre, sheet, ceramic vault, sheet ducts, bands, partition walls, facings, etc.<\/p>\n

The TECWOOL mortars are incombustibles according to European Standard<\/strong> UNE-EN 13501-1. Euroclass A1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depending on the required solution and the type of support to be protected, mcr <\/strong>tecresa<\/span>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0have several types of mortars with different densities: TECWOOL\u00ae<\/sup> F<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0TECWOOL\u00ae<\/sup> T<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0TECWOOL\u00ae<\/sup> 825<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each of the products goes through a rigorous internal quality control which allows to know the history, location and track record of every manufactured batch.<\/p>\n

Such precise control has allowed the development of an advanced product on the passive fire protection sector, making it the first mineral wool mortar to obtain the CE mark<\/strong> with DITE No. 11\/0185, guaranteed by Applus according to ISO 9001 Standard.<\/p>\n

The Tecwool\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> mortars offer the perfect constructive solutions for fire protection, depending on the density of the mortar used. The passive fire protection<\/strong> can be specifically provided for all types of structures and surfaces presented in construction; it can also provide with optimum thermal insulation<\/strong>, or the protection in industries and tunnels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The spraying process<\/strong> of the Tecwool\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>mortars is conducted through pneumatic spraying machine,<\/strong> pushing the dry mortar through the hose until the nozzle, where it is mixed with plenty of water spray, to later proceed to is application.<\/p>\n

The application, depending on the type of surface to be protected, can be performed either directly on the surface, on an adhesive applied as prior primer, or on a metal mesh fixed to the support, prior the mortar application.<\/p>\n
